I’ve found a lot of my math hacks by being lazy. I don’t want to use any more effort than I have to to get an answer. One of the first things I started doing is to reuse or recycle the math I already did.
One of the first things I started doing is when we are multiplying a number with a repeated digit, for example, 27 X 55, I put the number with the repeated digit on the bottom. Like this:
